We have 2 procedures here at Newburn for stain removal. Our starting option is the ‘Extensive scale’ for £52. With this option, the clinician will use our ultrasonic scaler to remove hardened calculus from your dentition, followed by an enhanced polish with our gentle polishing equipment.
Our second option is the premium ‘Air Polish’. Air polishing is a dental procedure that uses a jet of compressed air, water, and powder to clean and polish teeth. Our machine gently shoots a fine powder at the teeth that removes the staining leaving your teeth feeling and looking cleaner. The powder is made of sodium bicarbonate and calcium carbonate, which are gentle but effective at removing stains and discoloration. Air polishing is a non-invasive, painless procedure that can remove stains from coffee, tea, red wine, and tobacco. It can also clean under the gum line and around braces, implants, crowns, bridges, and fillings. This clean is priced at £90.
