
NHS fees
If you normally pay for NHS dental treatment, the amount you spend will depend on what clinical treatment you need.

If you normally pay for NHS dental treatment, the amount you spend will depend on what treatment you need. The NHS price bands are as follows:
- NHS fees Band 1 and Urgent Treatment = £27.40 which covers examination, diagnosis and advice.
- NHS fees Band 2 = £75.30 which covers all treatment included in Band 1, plus additional treatment, such as fillings, root canal treatment and removing teeth (extractions).
- NHS fees Band 3 = £326.70 which covers all treatment included in Bands 1 and 2, plus more complex procedures, such as crowns, dentures and bridges.

Private fees
We have introduced a competitive price list here at Newburn Dental Surgery. These prices will be discussed at your consultation with your clinician. We allow our patients to ‘pay as you go’ and only have to pay for the work that is completed. We are also delighted to introduce a finance option that allows patients to pay for a larger treatment fee on a monthly basis. Click the link for more information:

Our Independent exams cost just £45 and include all diagnoses, X-rays and clinical photographs. Everything will be discussed with you using our TV screens found in each surgery.
